Generally, loads wider than 8 feet 6 inches, taller than about 13 feet 6 inches including the trailer, or heavier than 80,000 lb gross need permits. Limits vary by state, so send exact dimensions and weight.
Does the instant quote include permits and escorts?+
No. The instant estimate covers the trailer and miles. For oversize loads, your agent adds permit and escort costs and confirms the route before you book.
Flatbed or step-deck: which do I need?+
Step-deck is for taller freight that would be over height on a flatbed. Tell us your freight’s height and we’ll recommend the right trailer.
Do you provide tarps?+
Yes, on request. Tarping is billed as an extra service, and your agent confirms the cost with your rate.
